2013 Halloween Walk and Fairytale Forest

Brooklyn – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) today announced plans for the 2013 Halloween Walk and Fairytale Forest scheduled for Thursday, October 31, 2013, from 3:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Owl’s Head Park, located at 67th Street and Colonial Road.

 

The 18th Annual event will feature the Haunted Walk, the Fairytale Forest, a pumpkin patch, a coloring contest and a costume contest. The event will also feature rides for the children, face painting, sand art, a Trackless Train Ride, and “Dracula’s Food Court”.

 

Senator Marty Golden stated, “The Haunted Halloween Walk and Fairytale Forest has been a very special neighborhood event that attracts thousands as a safe alternative to trick or treating. I look forward to sponsoring another special day full of fun, ghosts, goblins, tricks and treats for the children and families of our neighborhood. So get your costume on and head down to Owl’s Head Park on Halloween and come celebrate with the community.”

 

A suggested donation of $1 at the Haunted Walk and Fairytale Forest will help to support the event. Food and beverages will be sold at the event.

 

$5.00 V.I.P. passes are available that will admit 1 adult and up to 5 children at the V.I.P. entrances. Passes can be purchased at five area merchants including Circles -6901-3rd Avenue, Boragi Florist-7613-3rd Avenue, Kaleidoscope Toys-8722-3rd Avenue, Heart To Heart- 9004-3rd Avenue, and the Bay Ridge Mail Station – 9728-3rd Avenue.
