Senator Venditto's Narcan Training Program in Massapequa Park

This free program, in partnership in partnership with Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano, Legislator James Kennedy and Drug Free Long Island, will teach residents what to do in the event that someone overdoses on prescription drugs or Heroin.  Residents will learn how to administer the lifesaving antidote called Narcan, which is administered through a simple nasal spray that can reverse the fatal effects of an Opioid overdose.  Participants over the age of 18 will receive a free nasal Narcan kit at the event.  Reservations are required.
