Senator Venditto's Free Overdose Prevention & Narcan Training Program at Wantagh High School

The program, in partnership with Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano, will teach residents what to do in the event that someone overdoses on prescription drugs or Heroin. Residents will learn how to administer a lifesaving antidote called Narcan, which is administered through a simple nasal spray that can reverse the fatal effects of an Opioid overdose. Participants over the age of 18 will receive a free nasal Narcan kit at the event. Reservations are necessary.
