Suffolk residents are invited to a free Foreclosure Forum on Oct. 27, 2011 offered by the Suffolk County Bar Association. The forum will cover such topics as the homeowner's rights, the foreclosure process and what to do when served with a legal summons. The Suffolk County Bar Association wants to reach out to homeowners in the early stages of delinquency, before they go to the mandated court settlement conference with the lender. The seminar is open to Suffolk homeowners who are not already in the Suffolk County Bar Association's foreclosure help program and who are not due to go to court until after Oct. 27th. The seminar will be from 1:00 to 2:30PM October 27, 2011 at 560 Wheeler Rd. in Hauppauge. It will also be webcast live. To enroll for the forum or webcast, please call the Suffolk County Bar Association at 631-234-5511, ext. 223.
