College & Career Readiness Fair

Senator Patrick M. Gallivan (R-C-I, Elma) and the Wyoming County Business Education Council are sponsoring a College and Career Readiness Fair for area students in grades 8-12 and their parents.  The event will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2 at Warsaw Central High School, 83 West Court St. in Warsaw.

A panel discussion will also be held on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA.  Katie Brown of Genesee Community College will explain how to complete and submit the form, which is used to determine student aid, federal grants, loans and work study.    

Colleges expected to attend the program include the University at Buffalo, University of Rochester, Alfred State, RIT, Genesee Community College, SUNY Brockport, SUNY Geneseo and many others.
