Vietnam War 50th Anniversary Veterans Commemoration Ceremony

According to the Department of Veterans Affairs, 9 million Americans served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces during the Vietnam War.  These brave patriots, and their families, sacrificed so much in their defense of our values and the protection of freedom.

To observe the 50th Anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, the Department of Defense is honoring these brave men and women as part of the Vietnam War Commemoration, a national commemoration authorized by Congress that will conclude on Veterans Day 2025, with a Presidential Proclamation.

This year, Senator Phil Boyle is extending an invitation to all Vietnam War Veterans to attend a Commemoration Ceremony on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Babylon American Legion Post #94, where you will be presented with a Department of Defense Vietnam Veteran Lapel Pin and Senatorial Proclamation.
