The Epic Ride | Brooklyn Greenway Initiative

Participants in the Epic Ride will ride from Greenpoint, Brooklyn to Rockaway, Queens along the Brooklyn Greenway and Jamaica Bay Greenway bike paths. National Parks conservation association (NPCA) is teaming up with the Brooklyn Greenway Initiative, National Parks Service and Riis Park Beach Bazaar to celebrate the National Park Centennial by hosting the Epic Ride finish line at “the people’s beach” in Jacob Riis Park at Jamaica Bay, Gateway National Recreation Area. Once at Riis, bikers and beachgoers alike can enjoy local food and drinks, live music and a well-deserved dip  into the Atlantic Ocean.
