NYLAG Mobile Legal Help Center, Sponsored by Senator Persaud (3/4)

The New York Legal Assistance group and the New York State Courts Access to Justice Program are holding Mobile Legal Help Centers, offering legal services on wheels to low-income New Yorkers in need of legal help.  Sponsored by Senator Roxanne J. Persaud, the Center/vehicle will be parked right in front of the District Office. It contains four private meeting areas for attorneys who are available for counseling, advice and direct representation, and there is access to judges for emergency hearings, including domestic violence and eviction cases.
