Public Hearing: To review proposed legislation regarding enforcement of housing and building codes and related matters, including the recommendations the Committees presented in “Final Investigative Report: Code Enforcement in New York State,” issued August 5, 2019 and available online at http://bit.ly/2019CodeRep. Witnesses will be asked to focus their testimony on bills S1714, S1726A, S2813, S3320, S4938, S7287, S7288, S7291, S7292, S7300 and S7301. The Committees previously held a joint hearing on these matters on May 23, 2019 in Newburgh.
