AN  ACT  to  amend  the  environmental  conservation law, in relation to
  allowing the use of rifles for hunting in certain portions of  Ontario
  county

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Item (i) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907
of the environmental conservation law, as separately amended by chapters
321 and 326 of the laws of 2011, is amended to read as follows:

(i) The counties of       Deer, the first Monday  Pistol, shotgun,
  Allegany, Cattaraugus,  after November 15       crossbow,
  Chautauqua except       through first Tuesday   muzzle loading
  that portion of         after December 7        firearm, rifle or
  the county north of                             long bow only
  route 20, Chemung,
  Chenango, Herkimer,
  Madison,
  Montgomery, Oneida,
  Oswego, Otsego,
  Schoharie, Schuyler,
  Steuben, Tioga,
  Wyoming and
  Yates [and], that
  portion of the county of

follows:

  Allegany, Cattaraugus,  first Monday after      crossbow,
  Chemung, Chenango,      November 15 through     muzzle loading
  Herkimer, Madison,      first Tuesday after     firearm, rifle or
  Montgomery, Oneida,     December 7              long bow only
  Oswego, Otsego,
  Schoharie, Schuyler,
  Steuben, Tioga, [and],
  Yates and that
  portion of the county
  of Broome east of the
  Susquehanna river,
  AND THAT PORTION OF

  Yates, and that
  portion of the county
  of Broome east of the
  Susquehanna river,
  AND THAT PORTION OF
  THE COUNTY OF ONTARIO

  20/NEW YORK STATE

  S  5. This act shall take effect immediately, provided that the amend-
ments to item (i) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907  of
the environmental conservation law made by section one of this act shall
be  subject  to  the  expiration  and reversion of such item pursuant to
section 3 of chapters 321 and 326 of the laws of 2011,  when  upon  such
date  the  provisions  of section two of this act shall take effect; the
amendments to item (i) of  paragraph  a  of  subdivision  2  of  section
11-0907  of  the  environmental  conservation law made by section two of
this act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of  such  item
pursuant  to  section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as amended,
when upon such date the provisions of section three of  this  act  shall
take  effect; provided further, that the amendments to item (i) of para-
graph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of the environmental conser-
vation law made by section three of this act shall  be  subject  to  the
expiration  and reversion of such item pursuant to section 17 of chapter
483 of the laws of 2010, as amended, when upon such date the  provisions
of section four of this act shall take effect.
