AN ACT to amend the  environmental  conservation  law,  in  relation  to
  transfer of a lifetime hunting, fishing and trapping license

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. The closing paragraph of section 11-0704  of  the  environ-
mental conservation law, as added by chapter 507 of the laws of 2010, is
amended to read as follows:
  Provided,  however, that subdivisions one [and], six AND SEVEN of this
section shall not apply when the person to whom such license was  issued
[died  while serving in the active United States military, naval, or air
services during a period of war] WAS A MEMBER OF ANY MILITARY BRANCH  OF
THE  UNITED  STATES  OF AMERICA WHO DIED IN COMBAT OR WHILE DEPLOYED FOR
MILITARY PURPOSES ON OR AFTER SEPTEMBER ELEVENTH, TWO THOUSAND ONE.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
