AN ACT to dissolve the Bancroft  public  library  and  to  transfer  its
  assets to a newly established Bancroft public library

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. The Bancroft public library and its incorporated  trustees,
created  by  the  board of regents pursuant to title 2 of chapter 529 of
the laws of 1889, as amended, is hereby dissolved, and all assets, hold-
ings and belongings owned in whole or in part  by  the  Bancroft  public
library shall be transferred to a newly-created Bancroft public library,
which  was  granted  a  five-year  provisional  charter  by the board of
regents on December 13, 2011.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

AN  ACT  to  dissolve  the  Bancroft  public library and to transfer its
  assets to a newly established Bancroft public library

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

established by a special act of the legislature pursuant to chapter  206
of  the laws of 1851, as amended by chapter 329 of the laws of 1889, and
as further amended, is hereby dissolved, and all  assets,  holdings  and
belongings  owned  in  whole  or  in part by the Bancroft public library
shall be transferred to a newly-created Bancroft public  library,  which
was  granted  a five-year provisional charter by the board of regents on
December 13, 2011.
