AN ACT to establish that in the village of Florida,  in  the  county  of
  Orange,  the  north  cricket  frog  is  not a member of the endangered
  species list

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of the environmental conser-
vation  law or any other law to the contrary, in the village of Florida,
in the county of Orange, the north cricket frog shall not be  considered
a  member  of  the  endangered  species  list as such term is defined by
section 11-0535 of the environmental conservation law.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
