AN  ACT  making  an  appropriation  for  assistance to community college
  contract courses and workforce development

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  For additional aid for costs associated with state finan-
cial assistance to community  college  contract  courses  and  workforce
development,   an   additional  apportionment  of  two  million  dollars
($2,000,000) is hereby appropriated to the State University of New  York
under  Community College Operating Assistance, Local Assistance Account,
from the General Fund.
  S 2. Such moneys shall be payable on the  audit  and  warrant  of  the
state  comptroller  on  vouchers  certified  or  approved  in the manner
provided by law.
  S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
