ORTIZ -- read once and referred to the Committee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions AN ACT to amend the public service law, in relation to telephone rates for not-for-profit corporations THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The public service law is amended by adding a new section 92-g to read as follows: S 92-G. TELECOMMUNICATIONS RATES FOR NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATIONS. ANY CORPORATION AS DEFINED UNDER SUBPARAGRAPH FIVE OF PARAGRAPH (A) OF SECTION ONE HUNDRED TWO OF THE NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION LAW SHALL RECEIVE A DISCOUNT OF FIFTY PERCENT ON THE RATE FILED BY ITS TELEPHONE OR TELEGRAPH CORPORATION PURSUANT TO SECTION NINETY-TWO OF THIS ARTICLE.
