GABRYSZAK, SWEENEY, TITUS -- read once and referred to the Committee on Health AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to disseminating information regarding overweight and underweight children THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subdivision 1 of section 207 of the public health law is amended by adding a new paragraph (i) to read as follows: (I) HEALTH RISKS TO CHILDREN WHO BECOME OVERWEIGHT OR UNDERWEIGHT. INFORMATION SHALL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO PROVIDING CITATIONS TO THE DEPARTMENT'S WEBSITE, AS WELL AS OTHER APPROPRIATE WEBSITES PROVID- ING CREDIBLE INFORMATION ON THE SUBJECT. S 2. This act shall take effect on the first of September next succeeding the date on which it shall have become a law.
