AN ACT to amend the labor law, in relation to requiring the commissioner
  of labor to implement an online program to provide employees with  the
  ability to file a complaint and access the status of his or her case

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Subdivision 1 of section 196 of the labor law is amended by
adding a new paragraph f to read as follows:
  F. HE OR SHE SHALL DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT AN ONLINE PROGRAM DESIGNED TO
PROVIDE EMPLOYEES WITH THE ABILITY TO FILE A COMPLAINT  AND  ACCESS  THE
STATUS OF HIS OR HER CASE.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
