AN ACT relating to permitting the Southampton Union Free school district
  to enter into contracts for the  purposes  of  providing  recreational
  services during non-school hours

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the  contrary,  the
Southampton Union Free school district may enter into an annual contract
for  the  purposes  of providing recreational services during non-school
hours to the children of  the  school  district  with  a  not-for-profit
corporation,  organized  under  the  laws  of the state of New York. Any
contract shall be subject to the approval by  a  majority  vote  of  the
qualified voters present and voting at a district meeting.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
