AN ACT to amend the tax law, in relation to peace officers at the  video
  lottery gaming facility at the Aqueduct racetrack

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Section 1617-a of the tax law is amended by  adding  a  new
subdivision g to read as follows:
  G.  FOR  THE  PURPOSE  OF  PRESERVING ORDER, THE OPERATOR OF THE VIDEO
LOTTERY GAMING FACILITY AT THE AQUEDUCT RACETRACK IS HEREBY  AUTHORIZED,
WITH  THE APPROVAL OF THE GAMING COMMISSION TO APPOINT FROM TIME TO TIME
SPECIAL POLICE OFFICERS, AND THE SAME TO REMOVE AT PLEASURE,  WHO,  WHEN
APPOINTED, SHALL BE PEACE OFFICERS WITH THE SAME POWERS WITHIN AND ABOUT
SUCH FACILITY AS ARE SET FORTH IN SECTION 2.20 OF THE CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
LAW; PROVIDED, HOWEVER, THAT NOTHING IN THIS SUBDIVISION SHALL BE DEEMED
TO  AUTHORIZE  SUCH EMPLOYEES TO CARRY, POSSESS, REPAIR, OR DISPOSE OF A
FIREARM.   THE APPOINTMENT OF  POLICE  OFFICERS  IN  PURSUANCE  OF  THIS
SECTION  SHALL  NOT  BE  DEEMED  TO  SUPERSEDE  IN ANY WAY AT SUCH VIDEO
LOTTERY GAMING FACILITY THE AUTHORITY OF PEACE OFFICERS OR POLICE  OFFI-
CERS OF THE JURISDICTION WHERE SUCH FACILITY IS LOCATED.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

AN ACT to amend the tax law, in relation to peace officers at the  video
  lottery gaming facility at the Aqueduct racetrack

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
