STECK -- read once and referred to the Committee on Election Law AN ACT to amend the election law, in relation to filing electronic copies of political communications THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 14-104 of the election law is amended by adding a new subdivision 4 to read as follows: 4. POLITICAL COMMUNICATIONS REQUIRED TO BE FILED WITH THE STATE BOARD OF ELECTIONS PURSUANT TO SECTION 14-106 OF THIS ARTICLE OR SUBDIVISION FIVE OF SECTION 14-107 OF THIS ARTICLE MAY BE FILED ELECTRONICALLY WITH THE STATE BOARD OF ELECTIONS. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD14795-01-6
