LUPINACCI -- read once and referred to the Committee on Education AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation to requiring the commis- sioner to post past common core and other state standardized examina- tions on the department's website THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 305 of the education law is amended by adding a new subdivision 53 to read as follows: 53. THE COMMISSIONER SHALL POST ALL COMMON CORE EXAMINATIONS AND OTHER EXAMINATIONS WHICH HAVE BEEN ADMINISTERED TO STUDENTS STATEWIDE ON THE DEPARTMENT'S WEBSITE IN ORDER TO PROVIDE PARENTS, STUDENTS, AND EDUCA- TORS WITH MATERIALS WHICH CAN BE USED TO PRACTICE FOR FUTURE ADMINIS- TRATIONS OF SUCH EXAMINATIONS. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD04614-01-5
