AN ACT to amend chapter 556 of the laws of 2007, amending the  tax  law,
  relating  to  the imposition of an additional real estate transfer tax
  within the county of Columbia, in relation to the effectiveness there-
  of

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1. Section 2 of chapter 556 of the laws of 2007, amending the
tax law, relating to the imposition of an additional real estate  trans-
fer  tax within the county of Columbia, as amended by chapter 118 of the
laws of 2013, is amended to read as follows:
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall  expire  and  be
deemed repealed on December 31, [2015] 2017.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
