AN ACT to amend chapter 308 of the laws of 2012,  amending  the  general
  municipal law relating to providing local governments greater contract
  flexibility  and  cost savings by permitting certain shared purchasing
  among political subdivisions, in relation to eliminating  the  expira-
  tion and repeal the provisions thereof

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 308 of the laws of 2012  amending  the
general  municipal  law  relating to providing local governments greater
contract flexibility and  cost  savings  by  permitting  certain  shared
purchasing among political subdivisions, as amended by section 5 of part
G of chapter 55 of the laws of 2014, is amended to read as follows:
  S  2. This act shall take effect immediately[, and shall expire and be
deemed repealed July 31, 2019].
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
