HONORING Bobbi Ryan upon the occasion of her
designation as the 2016 Community Leader of the Year
by the Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve
the best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration
and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and

WHEREAS, Bobbi Ryan has given not only of her time and energies but
also of her competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently has
been designated for special honor; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Bobbi Ryan
upon the occasion of her designation as the 2016 Community Leader of the
Year by the Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce, to be celebrated at
its Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony on Friday, March 31, 2017, at the
Red Barn Clubhouse, Cobleskill, New York; and

WHEREAS, Bobbi Ryan has been called upon to contribute her time and
talents to countless civic and charitable endeavors and has always given
of herself unstintingly; and

WHEREAS, A lifelong resident of Schoharie County, Bobbi Ryan has a
true passion for her community; she is involved with numerous local
associations, and donates her time to such events as the Friday
Festivals in Middleburgh, the cruise-ins at the Dr. Best House and
Medical Museum, Heritage Day, SPARK 5K, Zombie 5K Run and Haunted
SCarriage House; and

WHEREAS, With a steadfast and unwavering commitment to Schoharie
County, Bobbi Ryan's dedication to making the community she loves
successful has grown to include international marketing most recently
with the Haunted History Trail; and

WHEREAS, Bobbi Ryan currently serves as director of programs and
marketing at the Dr. Best House and Medical Museum, a Victorian home and
medical office located in Middleburgh which captures the elegance of the
1920s; and

WHEREAS, In addition, this esteemed woman serves as a real estate
sales agent with the Four Star Realty Group; and

WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of her community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Bobbi Ryan has stood constant in
dignity, good grace and humor; and

WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Bobbi Ryan has displayed
throughout her life; and

WHEREAS, It has always been the objective of this Legislative Body
to honor and support those individuals who have displayed their
commitment to the betterment of their communities, and it is the intent

of this Legislative Body to inscribe upon its records, this tribute to
Bobbi Ryan, that future generations may know and appreciate her
admirable character, her many benevolent deeds, and the respect and
esteem in which she is held by her peers; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Bobbi Ryan upon the occasion of her designation as the 2016
Community Leader of the Year by the Schoharie County Chamber of
Commerce; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Bobbi Ryan.
