CELEBRATING the milestone anniversaries of the
Potsdam Chamber of Commerce Business Members

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that the quality
and character of life in this great Empire State is indelibly enriched
by the faithful efforts of those financial institutions and their
leadership who devote their purpose to promoting economic vitality and
service the public need; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
celebrate the milestone anniversaries of the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce
Business Members, to be celebrated at its Spring Luncheon on Thursday,
May 11, 2017, at the Potsdam Town and Country Club in Potsdam, New York;
and

WHEREAS, These businesses which are being honored include The UPS
Store, 10th Anniversary; Today's Hair and Day Spa, 20th Anniversary;
Orchestra of Northern New York, 30th Anniversary; NBT Bank Potsdam, 30th
Anniversary; Jreck Subs, 40th Anniversary; Pizza Hut (Potsdam), 40th
Anniversary; Reachout of St. Lawrence County, 40th Anniversary; St.
Lawrence Arts Council, 45th Anniversary; Sergei's Italian Restaurant,
50th Anniversary; Martin's Maple Service, 50th Anniversary; St. Lawrence
Gas, 60th Anniversary; Kelly Services, Inc., 70th Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Businesses exert a strong positive influence on our
communities, and the future welfare of New York State depends on the
continued development of these establishments; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
milestones of those institutions which serve the citizens and businesses
of the State of New York; and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
commend the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce Business Members on their
milestone anniversaries, for their excellence and commitment and
contributions to the community they have so ably served; now, therefore,
be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
celebrate the milestone anniversaries of the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce
Business Members; and be it further

RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the businesses and their respective owners.
