S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 7921 2017-2018 Regular Sessions I N A S S E M B L Y May 19, 2017 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. ABBATE -- read once and referred to the Committee on Ways and Means AN ACT to amend the executive law, in relation to requiring the transfer and appropriation, for the purpose of providing class B technical uniforms for all investigators, senior investigators and investigative specialists in the division of state police, a portion of any unex- pended moneys remaining in the state treasury at the end of the 2017- 2018 state fiscal year THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 216 of the executive law is amended by adding a new subdivision 4 to read as follows: 4. FOR THE STATE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING APRIL FIRST, TWO THOUSAND EIGHTEEN, THERE SHALL BE TRANSFERRED FROM ANY UNEXPENDED MONEYS REMAIN- ING IN THE STATE TREASURY AT THE END OF THE TWO THOUSAND SEVENTEEN-TWO THOUSAND EIGHTEEN STATE FISCAL YEAR, TO THE DIVISION OF STATE POLICE AN AMOUNT OF NOT LESS THAN THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS, AND SUCH TRANS- FERRED MONEYS SHALL BE APPROPRIATED AND EXPENDED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING CLASS B TECHNICAL UNIFORMS FOR ALL INVESTIGATORS, SENIOR INVESTIGATORS AND INVESTIGATIVE SPECIALISTS IN THE DIVISION. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD11370-01-7
