 Introduced  by  Sen. HELMING -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Corporations,  Authorities
   and Commissions
 
 AN  ACT  to amend part T of chapter 57 of the laws of 2017, constituting
   the clean water infrastructure act of 2017, in relation to the  effec-
   tiveness thereof

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 14 of part T of chapter 57 of  the  laws  of  2017,
 constituting  the  clean water infrastructure act of 2017, is amended to
 read as follows:
   § 14. This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however,  that
 [emergency  financial  assistance  will  not  be available under section
 1285-t of the public authorities law  established  pursuant  to  section
 eight  of  this  act  until one hundred twenty days after this act shall
 take effect; and provided further that] the provisions of  section  nine
 of  this act shall take effect on the one hundred eightieth day after it
 shall become a law.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
