BILL NUMBER: S6698 TITLE OF BILL : An act to authorize the town of Livonia, in the county of Livingston to sell the Jack Evans Community Center PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL : This bill would authorize the town of Livonia, in the county of Livingston, acting through its legislative body, to sell the facility known as the Jack Evans Community Center located at 4705 South Main Street, in the town of Livonia to the Little Lakes Community Association, Inc., for adequate consideration. SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROVISIONS : This bill would amend the unconsolidated law to authorize the town of Livonia, in the county of Livingston, acting through its legislative body, to sell the facility known as the Jack Evans Community Center located at 4705 South Main Street, in the town of Livonia to the Little Lakes Community Association, Inc., for adequate consideration. JUSTIFICATION : In 1989, the town of Livonia, in Livingston County, began acquired a facility approximately 25,000 square foot facility, which was a former schoolhouse, located at 4705 South Main Street, Hemlock, New York

YOUNG -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules AN ACT to authorize the town of Livonia, in the county of Livingston to sell the Jack Evans Community Center THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The town of Livonia, in the county of Livingston, acting through its legislative body, is hereby authorized to sell the facility known as the Jack Evans Community Center located at 4705 South Main Street, in the town of Livonia to the Little Lakes Community Associ- ation, Inc., for adequate consideration. ยง 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD13203-01-7
