 AN ACT to amend the state law, in relation to designating "Here Rests in
   Honored Glory" the official state hymn of mourning  in  honor  of  all
   American veterans

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. The state law is amended by adding a new section 91 to read
 as follows:
   § 91. STATE HYMN OF MOURNING IN HONOR OF ALL AMERICAN VETERANS.  "HERE
 RESTS IN HONORED GLORY," BY DONALD B. MILLER SHALL BE THE OFFICIAL STATE
 HYMN OF MOURNING IN  HONOR  OF  ALL  AMERICAN  VETERANS,  BASED  ON  THE
 INSCRIPTION ON THE TOMB OF THE UNKNOWN SOLDIER.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
