BILL NUMBER: S6895 SPONSOR: LITTLE TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend the executive law, in relation to designating Chazy lake as an inland waterway for the purposes of waterfront revitalization PURPOSE: This bill designates Chazy Lake as an inland waterway for purposes of waterfront revitalization. SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Section 1 amends paragraph (a) of subdivision 4 of section 911 of the executive law, as separately amended by chapters 43 and 255 of the laws of 2017 to expand the definition of "inland waterway" to include Chazy Lake. Section 2 establishes an effective date.

LITTLE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules AN ACT to amend the executive law, in relation to designating Chazy lake as an inland waterway for the purposes of waterfront revitalization THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Paragraph (a) of subdivision 4 of section 911 of the execu- tive law, as separately amended by chapters 43 and 255 of the laws of 2017, is amended to read as follows: (a) the state's major inland lakes consisting of lakes Ballston, Big Tupper, Black, Campfire, Canadarago, Canandaigua, Cayuga, Champlain, Charles, Chateaugay, Chautauqua, CHAZY, Conesus, Cranberry, East Caroga, Echo (in the county of Westchester), George, Glencoma, Great Sacandaga, Honeoye, Indian, Keuka, Little Wolf (in the county of Franklin), Lincolndale, Long, Lost (in the county of Putnam), Mirror, MacGregor, Mahopac, Northville, Oneida, Onondaga, Otisco, Otsego, Owasco, Peach, Placid, Putnam, Raquette, Ronkonkoma, Sacandaga, Saratoga, Schroon, Secor, Seneca, Shenorock, Skaneateles, Silver (in the county of Wyom- ing), Saranac and Tonetta, Teakettle Spout, West Caroga and Wixon, Simon (in the county of Franklin) and the Fulton chain of lakes; § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD13471-01-7
