BILL NUMBER: S7277 SPONSOR: AKSHAR TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend the highway law, in relation to desig- nating a portion of the state highway system in the town of Hancock, county of Delaware as the "SSG Justin R. Whiting Memorial Bridge" PURPOSE: Makes technical corrections to section 342-ddd of the highway law, as added by a chapter of the laws of 2017, amending the highway law relat- ing to designating a portion of the state highway system in the town of Hancock, county of Delaware as the "SSG Justin R. Whiting Memorial Bridge", as proposed in legislative bills numbers S. 4473-A and A. 3910-A SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Section one makes changes to section 342-ddd of the highway law, as added by a chapter of the laws of 2017.

AKSHAR -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules AN ACT to amend the highway law, in relation to designating a portion of the state highway system in the town of Hancock, county of Delaware as the "SSG Justin R. Whiting Memorial Bridge" THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 342-ddd of the highway law, as added by a chapter of the laws of 2017, amending the highway law relating to designating a portion of the state highway system in the town of Hancock, county of Delaware as the "SSG Justin R. Whiting Memorial Bridge", as proposed in legislative bills numbers S. 4473-A and A. 3910-A, is amended to read as follows: § 342-ddd. Portion of the state highway system to be designated as the "SSG Justin R. Whiting Memorial Bridge". The bridge on state route nine- ty-seven, designated New York state bridge number [1035470] 1035450, in the town of Hancock, county of Delaware, shall be designated and known as the "SSG Justin R. Whiting Memorial Bridge". § 2. This act shall take effect on the same date and in the same manner as a chapter of the laws of 2017, amending the highway law relat- ing to designating a portion of the state highway system in the town of Hancock, county of Delaware as the "SSG Justin R. Whiting Memorial Bridge", as proposed in legislative bills numbers S. 4473-A and A. 3910-A, takes effect.
