BILL NUMBER: S7604 SPONSOR: MURPHY TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend the executive law, in relation to designating Crystal lake, Junior lake, Mohansic lake and Sparkle lake as inland waterways for the purposes of waterfront revitalization PURPOSE: Designates Crystal, Junior, Mohansic and Sparkle lakes as inland water- ways for the purposes of waterfront revitalization SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Section one of the bill adds Crystal lake (in the County of Westches- ter), Junior lake (in the County of Westchester), Mohansic lake (includ- ing Crom Pond) and Sparkle lake as inland waterways to the list of inland waterways. BYRNE -- read once and referred to the Committee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT to amend the executive law, in relation to designating Crystal lake, Junior lake, Mohansic lake and Sparkle lake as inland waterways for the purposes of waterfront revitalization THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Paragraph (a) of subdivision 4 of section 911 of the execu- tive law, as separately amended by chapters 43, 255 and 433 of the laws of 2017, is amended to read as follows: (a) the state's major inland lakes consisting of lakes Baldwin, Ball- ston, Big Tupper, Black, Campfire, Canadarago, Canandaigua, Cayuga, Champlain, Charles, Chateaugay, Chautauqua, Conesus, Cranberry, CRYSTAL (IN THE COUNTY OF WESTCHESTER), East Caroga, Echo (in the county of Westchester), George, Glencoma, Great Sacandaga, Honeoye, Indian, JUNIOR (IN THE COUNTY OF WESTCHESTER), Keuka, Little Wolf (in the county of Franklin), Lincolndale, Long, Lost (in the county of Putnam), Mirror, MacGregor, Mahopac, MOHANSIC (INCLUDING CROM POND), Northville, Oneida, Onondaga, Ossi, Otisco, Otsego, Owasco, Peach, Placid, Purdys, Putnam, Raquette, Ronkonkoma, Sacandaga, Saratoga, Schroon, Secor, Seneca, Shenorock, Skaneateles, Silver (in the county of Wyoming), Saranac [and], SPARKLE, Tonetta, Teakettle Spout, West Caroga and Wixon, Simon (in the county of Franklin) and the Fulton chain of lakes; § 2.
