   printed to be committed to the Committee on Investigations and Govern-
   ment Operations
 
 AN ACT to amend the alcoholic  beverage  control  law,  in  relation  to
   authorizing  the  New  York Wine and Culinary Center or a wholly owned
   subsidiary to operate the Finger Lakes Welcome Center; and  authorizes
   the sale of cider

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Paragraph (e) of subdivision 4 of section 101 of the  alco-
 holic beverage control law, as added by chapter 247 of the laws of 2008,
 is amended to read as follows:
   (e)  Notwithstanding  any  other provision of law to the contrary, the
 center is expressly authorized to:
   (i) sell New York state produced wines, beers,  CIDERS  and  distilled
 spirits for both on and off premise consumption;
   (ii)  offer  tastings  on the premises of such products and charge the
 general public such amounts as it  deems  fit  for  such  tastings.  For
 purposes  of this section, tastings may be conducted in a common tasting
 area on the premises; [and]
   (iii) provide banquet and entertainment  facilities  for  the  general
 public  for  private parties in consideration of such fees as are estab-
 lished by the board of directors of the center from time to time, and to
 sell and  serve  at  such  events  wines,  CIDERS,  malt  beverages  and
 distilled spirits selected by persons hiring the facilities[.]; AND
   (IV)  OPERATE,  EITHER DIRECTLY OR THROUGH A PERMIT ISSUED TO A WHOLLY
 OWNED SUBSIDIARY, THE FINGER LAKES WELCOME CENTER SITUATED AT THE  PREM-
 ISES KNOWN AS:
   ALL THAT TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND SITUATE IN THE CITY OF GENEVA, COUNTY
 OF  ONTARIO, STATE OF NEW YORK, ALL AS SHOWN ON A MAP ENTITLED "EXISTING
 BUILDING EXHIBIT FINGER LAKES WELCOME CENTER" PREPARED BY COSTICH  ENGI-
 NEERING  D.P.C DATED FEBRUARY 28, 2018 HAVING DWG # 4750 VE110 AND BEING
 MORE PARTICULARLY BOUNDED AND DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:

 AN  ACT  to amend the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation to the

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
