   when printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules
 
 AN ACT to amend the state finance law, in relation to  the  school-based
   health centers fund
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. Section 99-bb  of  the  state  finance  law  is  renumbered
 section 99-ee.
   §  2.  The  closing paragraph of subdivision 7 of section 99-ee of the
 state finance law, as added by a chapter of the laws  of  2018  amending
 the tax law and the state finance law relating to providing a tax check-
 off  box  on  personal  income tax return forms for gifts to the school-
 based health centers fund, as  proposed  in  legislative  bills  numbers
 S.4487-B  and  A.2660-B and such section as renumbered by section one of
 this act, is amended to read as follows:
   Services shall be provided [on-site]  by  a  [multi-disciplinary  team
 consisting of a mid-level practitioner, a mental health counselor, and a
 medical  assistant  in  consultation with a physician. The centers shall
 also provide access to health care twenty-four hours per day, seven days
 per week] SCHOOL-BASED HEALTH CENTER LICENSED UNDER ARTICLE TWENTY-EIGHT
 OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH LAW OR SPONSORED BY A FACILITY LICENSED  UNDER  THE
 PUBLIC  HEALTH LAW AND APPROVED TO OPERATE BY THE NEW YORK STATE DEPART-
 MENT OF HEALTH.
   § 3. This act shall take effect on the  same  date  and  in  the  same
 manner  as  a  chapter  of the laws of 2018 amending the tax law and the
 state finance law relating to providing a tax check-off box on  personal
 income  tax  return  forms  for gifts to the school-based health centers
 fund, as proposed in legislative bills numbers  S.4487-B  and  A.2660-B,
 takes effect.
