 AN  ACT  to  amend chapter 504 of the laws of 2016, amending the tax law
   relating to authorizing the town of Greenburgh to adopt a local law to
   impose a hotel/motel occupancy tax for hotels not located in a village
   and authorizing specified villages in  the  towns  of  Greenburgh  and
   Mount  Pleasant to adopt local laws to imposed a hotel/motel occupancy
   tax in such villages, in relation to extending the effectiveness ther-
   eof
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1. Section 2 of chapter 504 of the laws of 2016, amending the
 tax law relating to authorizing the town of Greenburgh to adopt a  local
 law  to  impose  a hotel/motel occupancy tax for hotels not located in a
 village and authorizing specified villages in the  towns  of  Greenburgh
 and Mount Pleasant to adopt local laws to impose a hotel/motel occupancy
 tax in such villages, is amended to read as follows:
   §  2.  This act shall take effect immediately, and shall expire and be
 deemed repealed September 1, [2019] 2022.
   § 2. This act shall take effect  immediately.  Effective  immediately,
 the  addition,  amendment and/or repeal of any rule or regulation neces-
 sary for the implementation of  this  act  on  its  effective  date  are
 authorized to be made on or before such date.
 
 
 
  EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
                       [ ] is old law to be omitted.
