 AN ACT to amend the vehicle and traffic law, in  relation  to  requiring
   the suspension of the license to operate a motor vehicle of any person
   convicted  of  two violations of school zone speed limits within eigh-
   teen months
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1. Paragraph b of subdivision 2 of section 510 of the vehicle
 and traffic law is amended by adding a new subparagraph (xviii) to  read
 as follows:
   (XVIII) FOR A PERIOD OF SIXTY DAYS WHERE THE HOLDER HAS BEEN CONVICTED
 OF  TWO  VIOLATIONS,  COMMITTED  WITHIN  A PERIOD OF EIGHTEEN MONTHS, OF
 SUBDIVISION (C) OF SECTION ELEVEN HUNDRED EIGHTY OF THIS CHAPTER.
   § 2. This act shall  take  effect  on  the  first  of  September  next
 succeeding the date on which it shall have become a law.
