   O'DONNELL, SIMON, COOK, ORTIZ, DE LA ROSA, BLAKE, RICHARDSON, AUBRY --
   read once and referred to the Committee on Correction
 
 AN ACT to amend the correction law, in relation to significant  program-
   matic  accomplishment  for  limited credit time allowances for certain
   inmates
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Subparagraph  (ii)  of  paragraph (c) of subdivision 1 of
 section 803-b of the correction law, as amended by section 1 of  part  E
 of chapter 55 of the laws of 2017, is amended to read as follows:
   (ii)  obtains  [a  masters  of  professional  studies]  AN ASSOCIATE'S
 DEGREE, BACHELOR'S DEGREE OR MASTER'S degree; or
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
