S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 8827 2019-2020 Regular Sessions I N A S S E M B L Y November 25, 2019 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. JONES -- read once and referred to the Committee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT to amend the executive law, in relation to designating St. Regis river as an inland waterway for the purposes of waterfront revitaliza- tion THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subdivision 4 of section 911 of the execu- tive law, as amended by chapter 499 of the laws of 2018, is amended to read as follows: (b) the state's major rivers comprised of the Allegheny, Ausable, Battenkill, Black, Boquet, Bronx, Canisteo, Chaumont (including Chaumont bay), Chemung, Chenango, Cohocton, Delaware, Deer, Genesee, Grasse, Great Chazy, Hoosic, Hudson north of the federal dam at Troy, Indian, Little (in the Adirondack park), Little Ausable, Little Salmon (includ- ing north and south branches), Mad, Mettowee, Mohawk, Oswegatchie, Oswe- go, Pocantico, Racquette, Sacandaga, Salmon, Saranac, Saw Mill, Schroon, ST. REGIS, Susquehanna, Tenmile, Tioga, Tioughnioga, Wallkill and Buffalo rivers, and the north and middle branches of the Moose river; § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
