   opment and Small Business
 
 AN  ACT  to amend the economic development law, in relation to expanding
   the START-UP NY program to include medical primary care services

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Paragraph  (e)  of  subdivision  2  of section 433 of the
 economic development law, as added by section 1 of part A of chapter  68
 of the laws of 2013, is amended to read as follows:
   (e) medical or dental practices, EXCEPT MEDICAL PRACTICES WHICH SOLELY
 PROVIDE PRIMARY CARE SERVICES;
   § 2. Subparagraph (i) of paragraph (c) of subdivision 1 of section 432
 of  the  economic  development  law,  as added by section 1 of part A of
 chapter 68 of the laws of 2013, is amended to read as follows:
   (i) a state university campus other than the following: (A) any empire
 state college campus except for the empire state college campus in Sara-
 toga Springs, [(B) any property of downstate medical center  located  in
 Nassau  county,  Suffolk  county,  Westchester  county  or New York city
 except for  property  affiliated  with  downstate  medical  center  that
 constitutes  a  New York state incubator as the term is used in subdivi-
 sion four of section four hundred thirty-three  of  this  article,]  and
 [(C)]  (B)  any property of the college of optometry or maritime college
 located in Nassau county, Suffolk county, Westchester county or New York
 city.
   § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
