 Introduced  by  Sen.  SERINO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Labor
 
 AN ACT to amend the labor law, in relation to the model  sexual  harass-
   ment prevention training program
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. Subdivision 2 of section 201-g of the labor law is  amended
 by adding two new paragraphs d and e to read as follows:
   D.  SUCH  MODEL SEXUAL HARASSMENT PREVENTION TRAINING PROGRAM SHALL BE
 MADE AVAILABLE ON THE DEPARTMENT'S WEBSITE, AT NO  COST,  AND  SHALL  BE
 AVAILABLE  IN A FORMAT THAT PROMPTS EMPLOYEES WITH INTERACTIVE QUESTIONS
 THAT ARE TO BE ANSWERED CORRECTLY BY EMPLOYEES IN ORDER TO COMPLETE  THE
 TRAINING  PROGRAM  IN A MANNER DETERMINED BY THE DEPARTMENT IN CONSULTA-
 TION WITH THE DIVISION OF HUMAN RIGHTS.
   E. UTILIZING THE MODEL SEXUAL HARASSMENT PREVENTION  TRAINING  PROGRAM
 PURSUANT  TO  PARAGRAPH D OF THIS SUBDIVISION SHALL BE DEEMED SUFFICIENT
 FOR MEETING THE TRAINING REQUIREMENTS PURSUANT TO PARAGRAPH  C  OF  THIS
 SUBDIVISION  FOR  EACH  YEAR  THAT  IT  IS PROVIDED TO ALL EMPLOYEES AND
 UTILIZED.
   § 2. This act shall take effect on the ninetieth day  after  it  shall
 have become a law.
