 Introduced by Sen. COMRIE -- (at request of the Metropolitan Transporta-
   tion Authority) -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to
   be committed to the Committee on Rules
 
 AN  ACT  to  amend  chapter  206 of the laws of 2010 amending the public
   authorities law relating to establishing the metropolitan  transporta-
   tion  authority  small  business mentoring program, in relation to the
   effectiveness thereof
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1. Section 3 of chapter 206 of the laws of 2010, amending the
 public authorities law relating to establishing the metropolitan  trans-
 portation authority small business mentoring program, is amended to read
 as follows:
   § 3.  This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire December
 31,  [2019] 2029 when upon such date the provisions of this act shall be
 deemed repealed; provided that such expiration shall not apply to  pend-
 ing  and  awarded public work contracts and provided further that effec-
 tive immediately, the addition, amendment or repeal of any  rule,  regu-
 lation  or  standard necessary for the implementation of this act on its
 effective date are authorized and directed to be made and  completed  on
 or before such effective date.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
