S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 10490 I N A S S E M B L Y May 27, 2022 ___________ Introduced by COMMITTEE ON RULES -- (at request of M. of A. Rozic) -- read once and referred to the Committee on Ways and Means AN ACT to amend chapter 667 of the laws of 2021 amending the general business law relating to establishing a set grace period for the use of credit card reward points, in relation to the effectiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 667 of the laws of 2021, amending the general business law relating to establishing a set grace period for the use of credit card reward points, is amended to read as follows: § 2. This act shall take effect [one year] TWO YEARS after it shall have become a law, and shall apply to all credit card agreements entered into, renewed, modified or amended on or after such effective date. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD15765-01-2
