S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 8613 I N A S S E M B L Y January 10, 2022 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. BARRETT -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Ways and Means AN ACT to amend chapter 465 of the laws of 2016, amending the tax law relating to authorizing the city of Hudson to impose hotel and motel taxes, in relation to extending the effectiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 465 of the laws of 2016, amending the tax law relating to authorizing the city of Hudson to impose hotel and motel taxes, as amended by chapter 567 of the laws of 2019, is amended to read as follows: § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be deemed repealed December 1, [2022] 2025. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD13827-01-1
