 AN  ACT  to establish a housing task force addressing affordable housing
   for millennials in suburban counties

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  A  housing  task  force to address affordable housing for
 millennials in suburban counties is hereby established. The role of  the
 task force includes, but is not limited to:
   (a) facilitating interagency planning and policy;
   (b)  reviewing  specific agency initiatives for affordable housing for
 millennials ages 25 to 35;
   (c) providing a  continuing  forum  to  discuss  concerns  and  issues
 related to the formulation of state policy designed to help address this
 issue;
   (d)  developing  linkages and partnerships with housing developers and
 other appropriate entities to address the problem of lack of  affordable
 housing for millennials; and
   (e) identifying existing state initiatives that would aid in providing
 millennials with resources to find affordable housing.
   §  2. On or before two years after the effective date of this act, the
 task force shall issue its findings, any legislative recommendations  or
 proposed  state  policy  it  deems  necessary to the governor, temporary
 president of the senate, speaker of the assembly, minority leader of the
 senate, and minority leader of the assembly.
   § 3. The task force shall consist of a total of ten members and  shall
 be appointed as follows: one member shall be appointed by the department
 of  homes  and  community  renewal; one member shall be appointed by the
 department of economic development; one member shall be appointed joint-
