 AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation  to  authorizing
   the  dormitory  authority  to provide financing to the Masonic Medical
   Research Institute

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Paragraph  (b)  of  subdivision  2 of section 1676 of the
 public authorities law is amended by adding a new undesignated  subpara-
 graph to read as follows:
   MASONIC  MEDICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE, A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION, FOR
 THE DESIGN, ACQUISITION, FINANCING,  REFINANCING,  CONSTRUCTION,  RECON-
 STRUCTION,  RENOVATION, REHABILITATION, DEVELOPMENT, IMPROVEMENT, EXPAN-
 SION, FURNISHING, EQUIPPING OR OTHERWISE PROVIDING FOR A FACILITY AND/OR
 FACILITIES, INCLUDING ANY NECESSARY OR  ANCILLARY  FACILITIES,  FOR  THE
 PURPOSE  OF  CONDUCTING  SCIENTIFIC  RESEARCH  OR CONDUCTING TESTING FOR
 PUBLIC HEALTH IN THE CITY OF UTICA.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

 AN  ACT  to amend the public authorities law, in relation to authorizing
   the dormitory authority to provide financing to  the  Masonic  Medical
   Research Laboratory
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING SCIENTIFIC  RESEARCH  OR  CONDUCTING  TESTING  FOR
