   printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules
 
 AN ACT to amend the county law, in relation to  authorizing  Westchester
   county to waive certain fees by local law for veterans' organizations
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. Section 226-d of the county law, as added by a  chapter  of
 the  laws of 2021, amending the county law relating to authorizing West-
 chester county to waive certain fees  for  veterans'  organizations,  as
 proposed in legislative bills numbers A. 2658 and S. 7125, is amended to
 read as follows:
   §  226-d.  Waiver of fees for veterans' organizations. The Westchester
 county legislature is hereby authorized to  waive  fees  BY  LOCAL  LAW,
 including  but not limited to building permit review fees and fees asso-
 ciated with capital improvements to any post or hall owned by a not-for-
 profit congressionally chartered veterans' organization located in  such
 county.
   §  2.  This  act  shall  take  effect on the same date and in the same
 manner as a chapter of the laws of 2021, amending the county law  relat-
 ing  to  authorizing Westchester county to waive certain fees for veter-
 ans' organizations, as proposed in legislative bills numbers A. 2658 and
 S.  7125, takes effect.
