Subdivision 49 of section 100 of the economic development law, as renumbered by chapter 781 of the laws of 2021 is renumbered subdivision 50 and a new subdivision 49 is added. Subdivision 49 of section 100 of the economic development law, as renumbered by chapter 781 of the laws of 2021, is renumbered subdivision 50 and a new subdivision 49 is added to read as follows: 49. (A) TO, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR, ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN AN ONLINE, SEARCHABLE DATABASE TO CATALOGUE AND MAKE AVAILABLE INFORMATION ON WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT FUNDING PROGRAMS AND MAY PUBLISH ANY ANALYSIS OR REPORTS CONDUCTED OR AUTHORIZED BY THE DEPARTMENT, OR OTHER STATE AGENCIES OR ENTITIES, ON ANY SUCH DATA, REPORTS OR INFORMA- TION. SUCH AN ONLINE, SEARCHABLE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT DATABASE SHALL BE MADE AVAILABLE BY THE DEPARTMENT BY JANUARY FIRST, TWO THOUSAND TWEN- TY-THREE AND UPDATED AT LEAST QUARTERLY, THEREAFTER. THE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT ONLINE, SEARCHABLE DATABASE SHALL PROVIDE PROGRAM INFORMA- TION RELATED TO FEDERAL AND STATE FUNDING AND PROGRAMS THAT PROVIDE TARGETED EDUCATIONAL, OCCUPATIONAL OR TRAINING SERVICES FOR THE PURPOSE OF EFFECTING THE EMPLOYABILITY OF THE PARTICIPANT, PROVIDES TRAINING OR EMPLOYMENT SERVICES, SUPPORTS AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY BY ENHANCING THE SKILLS OF THE STATE'S WORKFORCE, PREPARES INDIVIDUALS FOR EMPLOYMENT, IMPROVES OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVIDUALS TO BECOME EMPLOYED, OR PROMOTES UNDERSTANDING OF THE STATE LABOR FORCE MARKET THROUGH STATISTICAL STUDIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PROGRAMS THAT FUND OR PROVIDE ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE AND ADULT LITERACY. FOR EACH WORK- FORCE DEVELOPMENT FUNDING PROGRAM, THE ONLINE, SEARCHABLE DATABASE SHALL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION FOR EACH FUND- ING PROGRAM: (I) THE NAME OF THE FUNDING PROGRAM AND THE FEDERAL OR STATE AGENCY OR ENTITY ADMINISTERING THE FUNDING PROGRAM; EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted.
