 Introduced  by  Sen.  RIVERA -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Higher Education
 
 AN ACT to amend chapter 357 of the laws of 2017 amending  the  education
   law  and  the public health law relating to the substitution of inter-
   changeable biological products for prescribed products, in relation to
   making such provisions permanent

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1. Section 5 of chapter 357 of the laws of 2017, amending the
 education law and the public health law relating to the substitution  of
 interchangeable  biological products for prescribed products, is amended
 to read as follows:
   § 5. This act shall take effect immediately  [and  shall  expire  five
 years after having become a law].
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
