Legislative intent
General Business (GBS) CHAPTER 20, ARTICLE 10-A
§ 155. Legislative intent. It is hereby determined and declared that
the promotion of travel, either individually or as a group, is now of
such volume that it is in the public interest to subject it to the
supervision of the appropriate political subdivisions of the state for
the purpose of safeguarding the public against fraud, false advertising,
misrepresentation and similar abuses.
