LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Chelsea Jurman upon the occasion
of being named a semi-finalist in the Intel Science Talent Search

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to honor the youth of
today, and leaders of tomorrow, whose character and achievements best
exemplify the ideals and values cherished by this great State and
Nation; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to congratu-
late Chelsea Jurman upon the occasion of being named a semi-finalist in
the Intel Science Talent Search; and
WHEREAS, In achieving this high academic honor, Chelsea Jurman may
take just pride in the inspiration and contribution to the spirit of
excellence she brings to Roslyn High School; and
WHEREAS, A 17-year-old student at Roslyn High School, Chelsea Jurman
stands poised on the threshold of a broad and challenging world; a
testament to the love and nurturing care of her family, teachers and
friends; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Chelsea Jurman upon the occasion of being named a semi-fi-
nalist in the Intel Science Talent Search, and to wish her continued
success in all of her future endeavors; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Chelsea Jurman.
